"Exploring Caves And Karst": A curriculum guide to understanding caves and karst groundwater resources. The overall curriculum guide includes elements of biology, earth science, archaeology, history, chemistry, mathematics and art. The guide is organized into topic sections, each containing three parts: an information segment, a related story and one or more activities. The curriculum guide is intended for middle and high school grade levels, although some of the activities can be used with elementary students. For more information concerning this guide, or the conservation of cave and karst resources, contact the Association's education and conservation programs.
